Clearpoint Recycling Secures Exclusive Feedstock Supply and Polymer Off-Take Partnership with Enviroo

Clearpoint Recycling has signed a landmark exclusive agreement with Enviroo, a specialist in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling. The strategic partnership will see Clearpoint supply over 30,000 tonnes of PET material annually to Enviroo’s state-of-the-art recycling facility at Protos Park, Ellesmere Port, set to open in 2027.

This latest deal solidifies the company’s role as a key supply chain specialist and broker in the recycling industry. With only three food-grade rPET facilities planned across the UK, the Enviroo plant stands as a critical infrastructure investment, and the Clearpoint-Enviroo partnership will be central to delivering on the UK’s sustainability targets and legislation.

The company’s processes allow for 100% of PET (the primary material used for food and beverage packaging, such as plastic bottles) to be recycled. This helps to divert it from landfills and prevent it from polluting oceans.
