Material Background: Domestic co-mingled – material comes in with metal and glass, it’s loaded into a hopper and then passes through a QC Cabin to remove anything that may damage the plant along with any OCC. Firstly the material enters a trommel where glass and any fines are removed. The material then travels along a belt where an overband magnet and eddy current targets metals and aluminium, there is a final hand-picked QC station to remove any other contaminants the material is then bunkered and baled
