Process: PRF Sorted, they mainly run council kerbside material that has already been MRF sorted that they purchase from their suppliers. They sort into single streams HDPE, PET, PP and by colour, jazz and natural. The plant has 2 lines and 2 trommels where the fines are taken out and then the material goes over the Titec where it is optically sorted. The material is manually QC’d to remove any contamination. The material is then baled and stored inside. Quality remains consistent and contamination levels low.
