Where Do We Operate?

Clearpoint Recycling operates across a number of countries, with our core base in the UK.

Our ongoing growth means that we are always seeking new partners to build long-term partnerships with, whether this is for buying or selling activities. We work with a variety of markets around the world to ensure we are at the forefront of any new or developing opportunities. This allows us to provide regular volumes of different recyclable materials across paper, plastic and glass.

Modes Of Transport

Our designated team of logistics specialists ensure that collections happen frequently and are in accordance with our quality practices with reference numbers allocated, waste transfer notes and Annex VIIs compiled in line with clients requirements.

Our modes of transport include:

  • Walking Floor Trailers collecting loose / compacted paper, plastic and metals being transported to the UK and Europe
  • High Cube Containers for deep sea export
  • Customers will require a loading ramp in order to sell goods for deep sea export
  • Curtain-Sided Arctic for both UK and European end destinations
  • Pallet Lines for smaller volumes of material
  • Open Top Skips with on-site 40-yard roll-on-off skips being filled with material and collected/exchanged as and when required

Collection Formats

We collect plastics, paper, metal and glass in variety of formats, resulting in less work for our suppliers and more options for our buyers. The formats we collect material in are:

  • Baled – We collect plastic, paper and metal in baled formats. Where possible, we encourage mill-size baling for paper and cardboard, however, this is not essential.
  • Loose – Paper and metals can be collected in a loose format and are collected using a walking floor. We also offer the capability to remove shredded and crushed plastic, whilst in their loose format.
  • Briquetted – EPS recycled wasted can only becollected in the EPS format, this can work out better in terms of revenue and payload. We will occasionally purchase baled EPC and we do accept steel and aluminium in briquette form.
  • Stacked – For ease of transportation, items including pallets, baskets, buckets and trays are collected in a stacked format, which is then secured on a wooden or plastic pallet.
  • Boxed & Bagged – We also collect new recyclables in boxes and on pallets as well as regularly collecting bagged plastic and regrind.
